About the role

You'll design and build the harder parts of the product: leading technical design for new features, writing and reviewing production code daily, and improving reliability, performance, and test coverage in the systems you own. You'll break large projects into shippable increments, debug gnarly production incidents to root cause, mentor intermediate engineers through code review and pairing, and push back constructively when a proposed design will not age well.

You've shipped and operated production software for years and your code reviews make other people better. You weigh trade-offs explicitly, communicate designs clearly in writing, take ownership beyond your own tickets, and stay pragmatic about technical debt.
